About: The Ladies’ Tea Society
Authors Patricia D’Amario and Elaine Bunting formed the Ladies’ Tea Society, LLC (LTS) October 31, 2005.
While enjoying a fine cup of tea and working on their Our Maryland Counties Series of books (find out more about the series here), they found great warmth and serenity while savoring their cups of tea. They realized it was a wonderful way to share their friendship.
This created a desire to bring together some of their friends into a society of Ladies who would appreciate the enjoyment and intricacies of tea, along with its accoutrements. Instead of meetings, the tea society members would hold “Gatherings” to promote warm companionship, good taste, and participation in the fine art of tea revelry.

We also schedule teas at tea rooms, restaurants, or other appropriate settings. Sometimes we hostess a “Tea and See,” where we visit a site or event, then have tea.
